The Town of Amherst is accepting nomination papers for election to fill several important committees and boards, including the Jones Library Board of Trustees, Amherst School Committee, Housing Authority, and Elector, Oliver Smith Will. Nomination papers (and assistance) are available at the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall, and are due back with signatures by September 17. Elections for those positions will be held on November 5.
