TRUTH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES SPRING CLASSES

The Spring session of classes at the Sojourner Truth School for Social Change Leadership is accepting registrations. As always, all classes are free and take place throughout Western Massachusetts in Springfield, Holyoke, Amherst, Easthampton, and Greenfield. All classes are taught by people of color or teams that include people of color. Most classes are one session and some are multisession. We are extremely excited about this upcoming semester, with a fantastic, inspiring and brilliant group of trainers.  A small sample of offerings includes:

• Food Justice and Democracy, taught by LaDonna Sanders Redmond
• Sacred Music: A Journey to Freedom, taught by Dr. Ruth Bass Green
• Preparing to Run For Office: A Workshop for Potential Candidates and their Teams, taught by Tahirah Amatul-Wadud and Yasmin Abdulatheem
• Invocation to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: Contemplating the Heart of the Matter, taught by Rose Sackey-Milligan, PhD
