WHAT’S HAPPENING IN AMHERST? IT’S LIKELY YOUR EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Most arts, sports and civic events in Amherst have been cancelled in response to the coronavirus emergency. We have taken down our events calendar and will restore it when the emergency has passed. All town buildings except for the Police Station will be closed through at least Monday March 30. Amherst schools will be closed through at least May 4. Gatherings of more than 10 people have been prohibited during the state of emergency. We recommend that anyone planning to attend an event or class, contact the organizers to ascertain whether that event has been cancelled.
