MASKS4ALL ENLISTS PUBLIC TO MEET LOCAL DEMAND FOR MASKS

Masks or face coverings are now essential for being in public when physical distancing is not possible. Masks are not required to be worn by children under the age of 2.
Many people have jumped into action by making masks for Amherst’s non-profit organizations and particularly for those who serve the Town’s most vulnerable populations. In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Amherst, in collaboration with Anika Lopes Millinery, has launched the town-wide Masks4All Initiative. The mission of Masks4All is to ensure that anyone who would like a mask doesn’t have just one, but two; one to wear while the other is washed. Masks4all seeks volunteers to help make and distribute masks to our neighbors, ensuring that every person who needs a mask has access to a mask, especially our most vulnerable populations.
People can join this “neighbor-helping-neighbor” initiative by making masks or donating materials.
