Swimming is now prohibited at the Fort River/Stanley Street Conservation area (popularly known as ’Jump Bridge’). Water tests have shown high levels of bacteria. “No Swimming: signs have been posted by the Conservation Department. The public is asked to help spread the word. Water testing will continue the public will be notified when the water is safe again for recreation.
