I am glad that the ARPS and the APEA are continuing their conversations and making progress on their negotiations. However, to me the headline that the District and Union have Reached an Agreement seems a bit premature. Yes, they have agreed that the earliest possible start date for in-person learning for any ARPS student will be October 1st, but this language leaves open the possibility that the start date could be much later than that. Also, it seems to me that there is still more for ARPS and the APEA to discuss regarding this coming school year as there are many details still tbd.
