The Community Resources Committee of the Town Council (CRC) will hold interviews on Wednesday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m for openings on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and will deliberate and decide on appointments immediately after the interviews. The meeting is posted as in-person, and while most town committees will resume meeting via Zoom beginning next Monday (6/21) no decision has yet been made about which format CRC meetings will take moving forward.  The Town Council is expected to decide on the format for its own meetings and those of its committees at its meeting on June 28.  Regardless of the format, the CRC meeting will be open to the public. Public comment is not  allowed at CRC public interviews.

For updates on the meeting posting look here.

The ZBA has five regular members and four associate members. There are currently six openings on the ZBA, two for full voting members (3-year terms) and four for associate members (1-year terms). Associate members vote only when a full voting member is absent or must recuse. As of this writing, there are a total of four candidates: Eric Cochrane, John Gilbert, Craig Meadows, (currently an associate member), and Karin Winter. Candidates’ personal statements of interest, the questions that will be asked at the interviews, and the selection criteria can be found here.

More information on the work of the ZBA can be found here and here.
