COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic At Amherst Mobile Market On July 24

Due to the low turn out for prior Amherst Covid Vaccine clinics associated with the Mobile Market, the Amherst Board of Health reached out to other community groups. The immediate response was fantastic. The Amherst Health Department is now partnering with other community agencies and resources for a Vaccine Clinic on Saturday July 24 at the East Hadley Road Valley Bike Station’s Mobile Market from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Flyers in English, Spanish and Chinese will be distributed to nearby apartment complexes.  Translators from Cooley Dickinson Hospital and community volunteers will be available to answer questions and help non-English speaking participants navigate the clinic.  The clinic will be evaluated and possibly expanded to other Mobile Market sites.
