Swimming is currently prohibited at Puffers Pond (both beaches) and the Wentworth Farm/ Stanley Street/Fort River swimming areas due to elevated bacteria counts.  Water from the beaches was last tested on 8/23.  Testing typically takes place on Tuesdays and results are usually posted by Wednesday.  Bacteria counts in these bodies of water commonly rise after a heavy rain though bacteria counts for the Fort River have been high for most of this summer.

Latest results for Puffers Pond can be found here.
