First Time Homebuyers Workshops Offered

The Valley Community Development Corporation is once again offering a set of workshops to help first time home buyers better navigate the process of home purchase and ownership.
The workshops will be offered over Zoom on Thursday October 21; Wednesday, October 27; and Thursday, October 28 from 6 to 9 p.m., and are taken as a package. The cost for the entire course is $50. Register for the event here.
Topics will include:
·Getting the facts from real estate professionals including attorneys, loan officers, realtors, home inspectors & housing counselors.
· Learning tips about how to improve your credit.
· Asking questions to help you proceed & protect your own interests as you approach this life decision.
This course is recognized by MHP & MassHousing, & it can help you qualify for special mortgage products.
Presented by Valley Community Development and sponsored by CountryBank. Valley Community Development is a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency. Registration is nonrefundable & attendance is required at all three sessions.
