Hampshire College 50th Anniversary Celebration Run Saturday

The public is invited to join Hampshire College Outdoor Programs, Recreation and Athletics (OPRA) for a fun, 5k (3.1 mile) run or walk around campus roads, fields and trails to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Hampshire College.  

Start Time: 9 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021

The course starts near the Robert Crown Center (RCC) around Campus Way and then heads onto the grass for a hilly loop near the Red Barn, then proceeding past the Hitchcock Center and the Hampshire Farm, before finishing back at RCC.  This is the same course that we run for the Amherst Invitational high school XC meet in September.  

Pre-register here online before 5 p.m. Friday, or register on race day between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m.  This event is free and open to the public.

Age group prizes and raffle for all participants.
