The Academy of Music Theatre is proud to present the second installment of The Valley Letters Project: Live on Stage, a series celebrating the art of letter writing, and its impact and connection to the fabric of our community on Saturday, February 12 at 2 p.m. The theme this year is. Letters of Love: An open-ended exploration of love expressed through words.

The evening will feature love letters of all kinds, submitted by members of our community and interwoven with carefully researched and curated letters from

World War II soldiers, Alexander Hamilton, Medieval Nuns and 21st century writers. Join us for a night celebrating local family heirlooms, personal experiences, and brave and bold love in all its forms, read by members of the community and actors from the Pioneer Valley such as Linda McInerney, Joan Holliday, Hillary Price, and Silk Johnson.

Tickets for the performance are $30. All funds raised will benefit the operation of our beloved and historic Academy of Music Theatre.

All attendees at the Academy of Music Theatre must show proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 or a negative PCR test taken within the past 72 hours, and wear a mask while they are inside the theater. Children under the age of 5 who can’t be vaccinated yet may attend, but they must wear a mask at all times. “Full vaccination” means being at least two weeks past the second shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks past the single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Booster shots are recommended but not yet required.

The Box Office is currently closed for in-person sales and will re-open January 27.
