Town Urges Caution On Ice, Skate At Your Own Risk

The Town of Amherst Conservation Department is urging the community to exercise caution on frozen ponds and bodies of water. With shifting temperatures, the safety of the ice cannot be guaranteed and all skating is at your own risk.
Staff has also posted physical signage to this effect at Puffers Pond, Markerts Pond, Owens Pond, and Plum Brook. Please be mindful of these postings and be safe.
