The implementation team for Amherst’s Community Responders For Equity, Safety and Service (CRESS) program, a civilian responder public safety service that provides an alternative to the police, has launched a web site.  The site is currently under development and does not have much content posted yet. But eventually, according to Jennifer Moyston, Assistant Director for Equity and Inclusion for the town,  the site will provide a home for public comments and feedback on the CRESS program and its implementation as well as up-to-date information on the work of the  implementation team, the CRESS Program, the African Diaspora Mental Health Asssociation and youth services and education training.  At recent public forums on CRESS implementation some residents had requested that the implementation team keep the public informed of their progress via a web site and the site was launched shortly thereafter.

The web site can be viewed here.
