The Racial Justice Committee of the League of Women Voters Amherst will present an on-line brown bag on reparations in Amherst on Sunday March 13 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Amherst’s African Heritage Reparations Assembly will present a report on their ongoing work.  The mission of this group is is to study and develop reparation proposals for People of African Heritage in Amherst to further the goals of the resolution “Affirming the Town of Amherst’s Commitment to End Structural Racism and Achieve Racial Equity for Black Residents,” adopted by the Town Council on December 7, 2020.
