Amherst Senior Center Will Hold Open House On May 11

The Amherst Senior Center will hold an open house on Wednesday, May 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. They are fully reopened and invite the public to come learn about their programming and services. The Amherst Senior Center is located in the Bangs Community Center at 70 Boltwood Walk. At the open house visitors will be able to meet with representatives from:
Amherst Council on Aging, Friends of the Amherst Senior Center, Highland Valley Elder Services, Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and Consumer Protection Unit, RSVP Volunteers, Commonwealth Care Alliance, Amherst Neighbors, Amherst Survival Center, Musante Center, Food Bank of Western Mass, Elder Law Attorney Michael Hooker, Amherst Fire Department, SHINE Counselors, Amherst Police Department, Community Responders for Equity, Safety and Service (CRESS), Veteran’s Services, Applewood, Christopher Heights, and Reiki Master, Bob Nelson.
Refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle. Live Jazz will be performed by Nico and Friends.
