Please join the Amherst Human Rights Commission on Sunday, January 15 from 2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m. in the Town Room of Town Hall for the reading of the 2023 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. proclamation, read by Town Council ,with a bell ringing ceremony, and followed by a community reading and discussion of Rev. Dr. King’s 1957 speech “A Realistic Look at the Question of Progress in the Area of Race Relations”
