The Amherst Human Rights Commission invites the public to help kick off Black History Month with a flag raising and a reading of the town’s Black History Month Proclamation on the steps of Town Hall, Wednesday, February 1, at 6:00 p.m.
More celebrations and acknowledgements are planned for throughout the month of February.
