Letter: New School Is A Wise Investment

I am writing in support of the new school building proposed in Amherst. Our community is known for its commitment to public education. We have a fabulous faculty and staff in our school system. The buildings currently in use have aged out. It might go without saying that the children in our community (actually, all children) deserve safe, healthy buildings that support current pedagogy.
We each have to choose every day how to invest our resources. This one looks like such a winning project—benefiting so very many people.
