Community Kwanzaa Celebration December 31

The Black Business Association of Amherst Area will host a community celelbration of the sixth day of Kwanzaa, Kuumba/ Creativity, on Sunday December 31, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. in the Theater Room of New Africa House, 181 Infirmary Way, UMass. The event will feature refreshments and a keynote address by Professor Amilcar Shabazz entitled “The Creative Economy and the Gift of Black Folx”. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a potluck dish to share.
