UMass Tree Seedling Giveaway Friday, April 19

It’s Arbor Month!
Please stop by and take home a tree. Species of birch, chokeberry, dogwood, hemlock, juneberry, maple, oak, pine, viburnum, and more will be available while supplies last. Bring your own reusable shopping bag or brown paper bag if you can.
Many of these seedlings are local ecotypes, meaning that they have been sourced from native plants specifically adapted to our ecoregion. In planting a local ecotype, you are helping to mitigate against the biodiversity crisis and provide food and habitat for local specialist insects and pollinators!
