The Amherst chapter of the Young Feminist Party, formerly Generation Ratify, has scheduled a student walkout at Amherst Regional High School and Amherst Regional Middle School on May 24 at 1:30 p,m. Students will leave schools at 1:30 p.m. and march to the Amherst Town Common, arriving around 1:45 p.m. There will be speakers and an open mic until around 3:00 p.m

Nationally, the Young Feminist Party is organizing a strike for abortion rights on June 24 to commemorate the second anniversary of the leaked Dobbs v. Jackson’s Women’s Health Organization decision and to protest the two current SCOTUS cases that have the potential to further strip away abortion rights.
