Letter: Opportunities to Support Democrats in the Upcoming Election

I just wanted to share some upcoming Democratic canvassing and virtual phone banking opportunities you can volunteer for, for some of the key races:

Canvass door to door in New Hampshire for Kamala Harris and down ballot Democrats,  Saturdays 10 a.m., Noon ,and 2 p.m.  and Sundays,  Noon and 2 p.m.  via 413 Staying Connected & Mass Dems  (Mobilize sign-up link:  https://www.mobilize.us/massdems/event/656603/ Be sure to fill in your own contact information in the sign-up if my contact info comes up.)

Canvass in New York’s 19^th Congressional District (NY CD 19), a “toss-up” district which sprawls from the NY-Mass border on the east through Ithaca and Binghamton on the west, to help Democratic challenger Josh Riley take this House seat back for the Democrats.  A Riley victory will help win back a House Democratic majority. Various canvassing dates and locations, including weekend dates in Catskill, Chatham, Coxsackie, Ghent, Hudson, Ithaca, Rensselaer, and other New York CD 19 towns.  (Mobilize sign-up links via:   https://www.mobilize.us/joshrileyforcongress/)

Virtual Phonebanks into Montana to re-elect Democratic US Senator Jon Tester to help keep the Democratic Senate majority. Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.via Northampton Democratic City Committee / Western MA Take Back our Democracy Coalition  / Mass Dems     (Mobilize sign-up link:  https://www.mobilize.us/massdems/event/653194/ .)

Virtual phone banks are open to volunteers joining from any part of the country.  (Just pay attention to what time zone the phonebank is occurring in.)

Virtual Phonebanks into Ohio to re-elect Democratic US Senator Sherrod Brown and flip the Ohio Supreme Court, Thursdays, 5-7 p.m. via Indivisible Northampton – Swing Left Western MA  (sign-up link:https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0tdemvqTIoG9aHIxR8bgWzJ7aGe83HO3df#/registration   .  )

Montana and Ohio are likely to be two of the closest US Senate races that could determine if the Democrats hold onto their Senate majority, and help a Kamala Harris White House clean up the Supreme Court and the lower federal courts with each new judicial appointment.
