The 2024 Downtown Halloween Spooktacular is scheduled for Sunday, October 27 from 12 to 4 p.m. Join the Recreation Department for a scary good time. The whole family can look forward to Trick-or-Treating, a Costume Parade, and the ever-popular Haunted House and Kids’ Carnival. .
The schedule of events is:
- Trick-or-Treating | Downtown – 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
- Costume Parade | North Common – 1 – 1:30 p.m.
- Haunted House & Kid’s Carnival | Bangs Center – 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
In addition to the Recreation Department, sponsors include the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce, the Amherst Business Improvement District, and the Jones Library Children’s Room. For more information, contact Becky Demling at demlingb@amherstma.gov
