Town of Amherst Public Health Director Kiko Malin announced that the town will be offering COVID and Flu vaccines at the Bangs Community Center this fall. Two vaccine clinics are being organized in collaboration with the Northampton Department of Health and Human Services through the regional Public Health Excellence grant. Vaccines are available for all Massachusetts residents ages 6 months and over. COVID vaccines offered will be Pfizer and Flu vaccines offered will be regular and high dose. Vaccines are free, however please bring an insurance card if you have one. No one will be turned away due to lack of insurance. 

Vaccine Clinics will take place in Room 101 of Bangs Community Center, 70 Boltwood Walk, Amherst, on the following days/times: 

  • Monday, October 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 13 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
