Gallery A3 will host their annual holiday sale and show, Small Wonders, from December 5-28. The December show features small-scale works of art created by current members of the contemporary cooperative gallery located in downtown Amherst. Original artwork includes paintings, prints, photographs, collages, assemblages, and fiber art. All pieces are appealingly small, with none larger than 10 by 10 inches, and affordably priced, ranging from $50 to $150, making them ideal for unique holiday gifts.  Stop by the gallery and take a look. Support local artists and discover perfect gifts for family or friends, or give yourself a small treat.

Gallery A3 is located at 28 Amity Street 1D. Hours are 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday-Sunday. There will be an opening reception at the Gallery, Tuesday, December 5 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

About Gallery A3
Gallery A3 is a fine art gallery in downtown Amherst, Massachusetts. Members of the artist-run cooperative include painters, sculptors, photographers, printmakers, plus mixed media and fiber artists. It is supported in part by grants from the Amherst Cultural Council and the Springfield Cultural Council, local agencies, which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Gallery A3 was founded in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on 9/11. A group of local artists believed art to be essential to the health and healing of a community and began the gallery as a place to share ideas and artistic support. Since that time, the gallery has been home to over 60 artists and is now celebrating 22 years of monthly shows with monthly openings and forums, all free and open to the public, and an annual juried show that supports local and regional artists.
