Today (12/4), The Supreme Court began hearing  US v. Skremetti, a lawsuit challenging a discriminatory Tennessee law that bans certain health care treatments for transgender Tennessee youth that are commonly provided for cisgender youth.  In response, on December 10, chapters of the Young Feminist Party from across the country are organizing school walkouts to demand, as part of their National Day of Action, the immediate publication of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Amherst Young Feminist Party is hosting a walkout across Amherst Regional Middle and Amherst Regional High School, with several speakers and a community open mic. We will march from the schools at 1:30 p.m. and meet at the Amherst Town Common at 1:40 p.m. We invite the public to join us.
