Gabriel Ting Appointed Temporary Police Chief

Amherst Town Manager Paul Bockelman has appointed Captain Gabriel Ting as the Temporary Police Chief effective May 27, 2023. Captain Ting will serve in this capacity until a new Police Chief begins their duties. 

Ting has been a member of the Amherst Police Department since 1997 and currently serves as Captain of Operations.
