The Amherst Pelham Education Association held a “Rally for a Fair Contract” in front of the Amherst Regional Middle School on May 24, just prior to their latest bargaining session. Teachers, paraeducators and clerical staff from Amherst and Pelham schools were joined by retired educators, parents, children, and other allies. Negotiations have now been going on for over 16 months.
