This week we offer a gallery of photos that we have received during the months of June/July 2024. We will continue to post galleries, typically the last week of each month, as long as our readers continue to send us photos.

Our end-of-the month June Gallery features photos from Annique Boomsma’s garden and of the annual July 5 community reading of Frederick Douglass’ “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” (see here for full text and audio of a reading by Ossie Davis).

Our feature, Photo of the Week, presents each week, a new picture by a local photographer. We invite local photographers to share their photographs here.   Please include a description/caption and an indication of who is to be credited.
