Amherst school children are invited to the town’s annual First Day Celebration at Kendrick Park, 50 East Pleasant Street, on Sunday August 25 from 4:40-6:30 p.m. Come try out a school bus, meet the new superintendent, meet your principal, say hi to friends, grab some ice cream, and have a blast the night before the first day of school!
