The 17th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for the Amherst Survival Center (ASC) was held at the ASC on Saturday April 5. ASC reported on Instagram, “Together, we raised $70,000 to to provide nourishing food and other vital resources to our neighbors in Franklin and Hampshire Counties! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who contributed, and for all the many beautiful ways you helped make it possible. To our dedicated and generous sponsors, chefs, artists, raffle donors, musicians, volunteers, attendees, and everyone who helped spread the word, we are truly BOWLED over by your love, and it’s all going right to work making a difference in the lives of our neighbors. Thank you ALL for helping to fill empty bowls in our community!”

Our feature, Photo of the Week, presents each week, a new picture by a local photographer. We invite local photographers to share their photographs here.   Please include a description/caption and an indication of who is to be credited.
